Looking for a job is a process that requires patience and arriving at different solutions. Do not get discouraged if you fail to receive a job offer right away.
Activity and commitment give good results and you can finally find a decent job that is good for you.
During an active job search:
- Learn Polish – people who know basic Polish can become recruited faster, can communicate more easily about working conditions and are not deceived by dishonest employers.
- Improve your qualifications – courses, training, certificates.
- Gain work experience – internships, apprenticeships

How to search for work?
- Ask yourself what you would like to do, what kind of work you are interested in and where you would like to work.
- Prepare a CV.
- Tell your friends that you are looking for a job, look for contacts with people who are already working and may know about vacancies – the fastest way to find a job is through other people, so tap into your contacts for this purpose.
- Bring your printed CV in person to a company where you would like to work.
- Find an employer you would like to work for online and check job advertisements on its website. Some companies in Poland are recruiting on their websites.
- Take advantage of the opportunity to apply online. Many portals with advertisements from employers give you the opportunity to regularly receive job offers that match your selected categories via e-mail.
- Search and apply online for job offers on such portals as:
- Tent Employment Portal Candidate Registration (tent.org) - a portal where job vacancies are linked to CVs. To use the portal an account is required.

When looking for a job online, pay attention to the following:
- What form of employment (e.g. contract of mandate, temporary work, shift work) is proposed?
- What is the location of the place of work?
- Do you have the competencies and qualifications expected by the employer? Be sure to have them reflected in your CV.
- What is the expected scope of responsibilities?
