IOM Bratislava and partners have developed new mobile application SAFE Travel & Work Abroad, which highlights the risks of human trafficking in a form of interactive game. The application is intended mainly for educational purposes to serve as a tool for THB prevention among youth.

The short game invites the users to try to walk in shoes of one of four characters who decided to explore the world. The user makes decisions and the course of the story. The situations displayed in the stories point out the signs of trafficking in human beings and help young people reflect on the consequences of their actions. Besides the short game, application provides key information about human trafficking, safe travelling principles and tips for working abroad as well as useful contacts in case of emergency. Application is not designed to provide emergency rescue.

The application is available for free in the App Store, Google Play and also as a website http://www.safe.iom.sk in five languages: Slovak, Czech, Polish, Hungarian, and English.
